From 13 October to 4 December Vincent was here can be seen at art gallery and auction house De Vuyst in Lokeren (BE). The accent lies on the still lifes: from dark Brabant still lifes in Rembrandtian light to exuberantly colourful still lifes and bouquets from Vincent’s Southern period. There are also some interiors and large landscapes on display.
Vincent was here is enjoying the good company of artists such as Léon Spilliaert, Théo Van Rysselberghe, Roger Raveel, James Ensor and many others, because De Vuyst is preparing a large art auction that will take place on October 23rd. During the viewing days from October 13th until October 20th the gallery will be open every day. The photographs by Borghouts will not be auctioned but will be for sale in a limited and numbered edition.
